Graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences, Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. pursued a Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University in Grenada. After finishing medical school, Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. conducted his residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where he studied anatomic and clinical pathology in-depth. Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. then continued his studies with the City and County of Denver, completed a fellowship in forensic pathology at the Office of the Coroner.

Upon completing his fellowship, Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. relocated from Colorado to California, where he accepted a position as an Associate Pathologist with Yosemite Pathology Medical Group, Inc. in Modesto. During his two-year tenure with Yosemite Pathology Medical Group, Inc., Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. immersed himself in the practices and procedures of the profession. Subsequently moving to Stockton, California, Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. joined Delta Pathology Associates, where he worked as a Forensic Pathologist for three years.

Following his employment with Delta Pathology Associates, Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. moved to Florida, where he entered the judicial circuit as an Associate Medical Examiner for the 14th Judicial District in Panama City. Ascending ranks, Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. later became Chief Medical Examiner of the 7th and 24th Judicial Districts in Daytona Beach.

From the judicial system, Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. transitioned into the academic sector, taking on the roles of Assistant Professor of the Department of Pathology and Director of the Division of Forensic Pathology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. directed financial and human resources activities and instituted an accredited fellowship for the Division of Forensic Pathology. Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. also served as the Chief Medical Examiner for Lubbock County, where Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is located.

Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. recently returned to California, where he works as a Forensic Pathologist for the Kern County Sheriff’s Office in Bakersfield, California. Thomas R. Beaver, M.D. determines causes and manners of death through autopsies, and reports his findings to the coroner and the local court system as necessary.
